The Architect's Newspaper 2017 Best of Design Awards:
The Architect's Newspaper's 5th Best of Design Awards is now open for submissions. Best of Design is a unique project-based awards program that showcases great buildings and building elements. Entrants are invited to submit completed works in 42 categories, including Architectural Lighting, Building Renovation, Digital Fabrication, Civic, Green Building, Small Spaces, Student Projects, Urban Design, and Young Architects. The deadline for submissions is September 29, 2017.

Once at the Entry page, you will need to create an Account. Come back to your Account as often as you’d like to update your Entry using the login credentials you established.

Warming Huts: An Arts + Architecture Competition on Ice:
Warming Huts is an open competition, supported by the Manitoba Association of Architects. Proposals for the competition are submitted online at www.warminghuts.com. Once entries are submitted, a blind jury selects designs that best “push the envelope of design, craft and art.”
Started in 2009, Warming Huts: An Art + Architecture Competition on Ice has been melding world-class design and art with Winnipeg’s famous winters.
Concours d’architecture pour un catamaran 2017:
Afin de promouvoir et d’encourager l’innovation dans l’univers du nautisme et de l’habitat, la Fondation d’entreprise Beneteau organise pour la septième année consécutive un concours destiné aux étudiants inscrits dans une école européenne d’architecture, d’ingénierie, de design, d’art ou suivant un cursus universitaire en lien avec la problématique énoncée.
Mind Rain Architecture Competition 2017:
Design a residence for a couple who lives with their darling pet – a crocodile (If you want to have an elephant, go ahead – we have no issues. Just make sure you design a good shelter for that animal. You can even have a dinosaur or a dragon if you wish!). You have the complete freedom to design the house on land, floating in the air, floating on the water or even under water. We only want you to make a super fun house and have super fun while designing it.
Caribbean Design Award:
Architectural / Interir Design 2017.
To be eligible for registration, admission is demanded on the project be finished latest by 1 August 2017.
The project can be a complete building, part of a building or several buildings.
The person, design team or Company attending to the competition must be registered in the Caribbean region.

2017 Tile of Spain Awards for Architecture:
The prizes aim to improve awareness and understanding of ceramic tiles made in Spain amongst architects and interior designers and promote their use by these professionals.
PAVE 2017 Student Design Competition :
The annual competition is geared toward college-level students involved in retail planning, visual merchandising, and branding programs.
The 2017 PAVE Design Challenge invites you to re-invent the experience of Chick-fil-A on a college campus.
The goal is to develop concepts that expand the platforms and expressions in which Chick-fil-A serves a college campus. Explore new ways of creating an experience that is more than just a transaction of food.
Smeg and Liebherr Kitchen Design Contest:
The kitchen design entry can be any style kitchen, and all major kitchen appliances in the design must be Smeg and Liebherr products.
A minimun of three Smeg and Liebherr cooking appliance as the primary cooking appliance is required.
INSPIRELI Award 2017:
INSPIRELI AWARDS is the largest international architecture competition enabling new talents to tell their stories and raise awareness about their own world view before they get their chance to build it. It brings together up-and-coming design and architecture students or recent graduates, as well as established professionals, and provides them a forum to connect to the general public.
Contestants enter works in one of two categories: Vision for conceptual works and Realisation for already built.
PINOCCHIO CHILDREN'S LIBRARY:
“Pinocchio Children’s Library”, an architectural competition to design a library dedicated to Pinocchio’s Adventures and available to children and adults alike. A cash prize of € 20,000 will be awarded to the winners selected by an internationally-renowned jury made by, among the others, Mario Cucinella, Italo Rota, Fabio Novembre, Fedele Canosa (MECANOO Architecten), Emmanuelle Moureaux.
