15th Travel Photographer of the Year (TPOTY) 2017 Awards:
Now in the 15th year, the Travel Photographer of the Year (TPOTY) Awards entry is open for the 2017 competition.
This year’s overall winner will be awarded £4,000, plus several other non-monetary prizes. Winners will be announced in all other competition categories and different prizes will be awarded.
Architectural Photography Award 2017:
Architectural Photography Award launched by the Association of Hungarian Architects and the Hungarian Architecture magazine. We invite photographs from all over the world in two categories: open and professional. The international jury: Iwan Baan, Tamás Bujnovszky, Nicolas Grospierre, András Krizsán, Josef Schulz, Jan Stempel, György Szegő. An exhibition is going to be opened in Budapest in November 2017, and it is to be moved to Bratislava, Prague and Cracow.

PhotoVoice's September Photography Competition:
In celebration of both the Jewish New Year (Sept 21st) and Islamic New Year (Sept 22nd) this month’s competition is inspired by Areej Mustafa Abu Sarah who was a participant on the PhotoVoice project ‘Side-by-Side’ which worked with Palestinian and Israeli teenagers from across Israel and the West bank.
Inspired by Areej’s depiction of both Muslims and Jews walking along the same street we want to see images that reflect on the theme of ‘Tolerance’.

Ansel Adams once said: “You don’t take a photograph, you make it.” PDN Faces recognizes the powerful portraits that photographers make, including assignment and personal work, plus celebrity, animal and kids portraiture.
Professional and amateur photographers are judged separately, and are eligible for prizes that include $1,500 and $2,500 cash, one-page features in PDN and more.

The CGAP Photo Contest is looking for original, striking images that capture the importance of financial inclusion efforts around the world. Digital innovations and the growing use of smartphones are making it easier for poor and rural customers to manage their daily finances, grow a business, or respond to an emergency. But 2 billion people still lack access to basic financial services such as savings accounts and credit that can help improve their lives.
2017 Photography competition “Wildlife in Britain”:
This year’s theme is “Wildlife in Britain” and Ecoffins is looking for 12 images, one for each month. The images should display one or more animals which are part of the natural British environment. Due to the environment in which this calendar will be used, Ecoffins is looking for images that reflect the beauty of animals and nature in the UK in a positive, memorable and calm way.

The UrbanPhotoFest Open is an international urban photography competition, developed and managed by the Urban Photographers Association, a non-profit organisation whose mission is to promote excellence in urban photographic practice, research and education.
